A special thanks to photographer Erika, and the newlyweds for sharing their photos and blog with us!  Bayfields has had many weddings here over the years(at least 9* so far)

2012 #3: my daughter’s wedding

2013 #4 & #5: two guest weddings

2014 #6: one guest wedding

2015 #7,8,&9: three guest weddings

and already has several booked for 2016 and 2017!

This is the final year of weddings at Bayfields.

A wedding in May!

Upstairs a bedroom was alight with giggling excited mothers, girlfriends, and sisters. Below in the library, the groom and groomsmen were sharing laughs and proposing toasts as they picked through suits and ties. But outside, it was silent and ready.

In the middle of May, mid-morning overlooking the West River and out onto the Chesapeake Bay, light breeze, sunny day, intensely blue sky, fresh green grass, sparkly waters… everything looks just perfect.

The beautiful location on the West River, with a view of the Chesapeake Bay, made the special day even more wonderful.
